Starting on the weekend of July 4 & 5th, all weekend Masses will be held at St. Anthony Church, at our normal times:
Saturday: 4:00pm and 6:30pm
Sunday: 8:00am and 10:30am
We are still asking for parishioners to maintain “social distancing” as much as possible, and when it is not possible, to kindly bring and wear a face mask. We are also at at maximum capacity limit of 100 in attendance. We will do what we can however, to accommodate all who come to church. If it should be necessary to run simultaneous Masses at St. Dominic and St. Anthony, or to add Masses to accommodate all who wish to attend, we will make arrangements. Our hope is that with “Restore Illinois” going to phase 4, we will receive instructions from the diocese to be able to increase the attendance capacity of the church.
As before, we do ask volunteers to make themselves available to wipe down surfaces after each Mass in order to help us get ready for the following Mass. We also ask parishioners to cooperate with the instructions of our ushers and to be especially considerate to each other and to guests. We continue to have a small supply of ‘Pray Together” missals available for you to take and keep (with an expiration date in mid-August).
If you are feeling sick or have any symptoms, or if you feel yourself vulnerable due to age or other health concerns, we continue to beg you to please stay home.
Thank you for your continued cooperation as we more forward with the reopening of our parish churches.
